Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Starry mobile application and the website at starry-app.com (together, the “Services”), provided by Andrea Antonioni (“Starry,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. The Services

Starry helps you monitor publicly available App Store customer reviews across App Store regions you choose. Features may include review browsing and filtering, notifications, saved reviews, private notes, translation, and sentiment analysis. Features may vary by device, operating system version, subscription status, and availability of Apple system APIs.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Services. The Services are intended for developers and other adults managing App Store apps, not for children.

3. Accounts and Apple ID

Starry may rely on your Apple ID, iCloud, and App Store account for syncing data and managing purchases. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple account and for activity under that account.

4. Free and Pro features

Starry may offer free functionality with limits (for example, tracking a limited number of apps) and paid “Starry Pro” features. Exact limits and features may change over time and are described in the app.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Paid subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.

For Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, see Apple’s Standard EULA. Where Apple’s EULA and these Terms both apply to App Store downloads, Apple’s EULA governs the licensed application terms required by Apple.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services in violation of applicable law or Apple’s terms
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape at abusive rates, disrupt, or interfere with the Services
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting support
• Use Starry to harass individuals or misuse personal data obtained from reviews beyond what is lawful and appropriate for app feedback management

7. App Store content and third-party materials

Review content displayed in Starry comes from publicly available App Store sources and is created by third parties. Starry does not claim ownership of App Store review content and does not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or availability. Apple, App Store, and related marks are trademarks of Apple Inc.

8. Intellectual property

The Starry name, app, website design, and original content (excluding third-party review content) are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for your personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

9. Privacy

Our collection and use of information is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that review data will always be complete or current.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STARRY AND ITS DEVELOPER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR STARRY PRO IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Starry and its developer from claims arising out of your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or modify/discontinue parts of the Services. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence provide otherwise.
